The Forgotten Coast is noted for its amazing restaurants. After all the area teems with small fishing villages, so may as well dine on the fresh catch. Below are our recommendations for 2020 dining like a native on The Forgotten Coast.
Provisions Restaurant They serve fresh, high quality, culturally diverse and beautifully prepared food for your enjoyment. From southern comfort foods to inspired international flavors, Port St. Joe's favorite restaurant.
Up the Creek Raw Bar They are a casual restaurant, with a laid-back atmosphere. But, they are not "your father's oyster bar". They have a full and diverse menu that keep up with the exciting culinary trends. Enjoy the best view in Apalachicola from their covered or open-air decks, sip a cold beer and enjoy.
Tamara's Cafe Tamara's Café was awarded four hats by food critic Ashby Stiff of the Tallahassee Democrat in 1999. This is our special occasion place for fine food. This is a great spot to discuss your project, of course lunch on us.
Lynn's Quality Oysters If you’re craving local fresh seafood in a laid-back setting, look no further than The Raw Bar at Lynn’s. They serve great variety of oysters, raw, baked, Captain Jack's etc. They also offer a wide array of other local fresh seafood, including shrimp, crabs and the catch of the day. And... they have a seafood market as well for take home.
Killer Seafood The name says it all they serve killer seafood. Mexico Beach's best restaurant, locals and visitors agree.
The Blue Parrot Oceanfront Cafe The Blue Parrot offers a great view, an array of fine cocktails, oysters, fresh seafood, and steaks. Dine in a casual comfort on our sun deck, covered upper decks, or air conditioned inside dining room. The Blue Parrot is the only restaurant on St. George Island located on our white sand beach. Kind of touristy, this is where I take my out-of-town guests.

Hole in the Wall Seafood & Rawbar One of my favorite oyster bars in Apalachicola. I like the baked Parmesan and butter or the baked bacon, jalapeño, and cheddar. I usually do both with an ice cold Goose Island or two.
Paddy's Raw Bar If you had pick out one word to describe Paddy's it would be, local. Paddy’s is a place that you want to hang out with your friends. Come, drink some cold beer and eat delicious Apalachicola Oysters. They have added lots of new preparations for the oysters as well as a few new menu items. Remember, When you’re at Paddy’s Raw Bar - You’re Local!
